Who I Am

Art
​

I am an artist. art educator and wellness provider.  I earned a BS in Art Education and a MA in Art Therapy.  I'm a concerned human being aware of some positive possibilities.

In Fiber Art:
One possibility is to recycle and refashion clothing.  My efforts to reuse doilies are an example.
Another is to use natural fibers and dyes in the creation of clothing.
Looking for products that are produced fairly also is helpful.​​

In Visual Art:
Goethe's Colour Theory and work on the metamorphosis of plants have inspired my philosophy and artistic visual work.  Painting out of the color is a life affirming process that has many healthy aspects​

Art Education

            I teach privately to groups and
             individuals​ in various locations.
            ​ I teach Drawing, Watercolor Paint-  
             ​and ​various Fiber Arts.
             I especially like group projects like
             dyeing yarns with natural dyes. ​​​

To me true Art is Wellness as well as light and love.  I am especially interested in
Human Biography and Art.  I also am aware that art can develop into a Social Art.​
